That's a good-looking car

 

Car looks great, but those wheels look way out of place. Needs a 21"+ for sure

 

Or at least 20"'s...

 

If it hadn't been for all the helpful info on the 450 forums, I wouldn't have made the best choices for my order, including getting the 21 in. wheels. Assuming it matters, assuming the car ever gets here........

 

Those wheels are the biggest mistake ever for this GLE. Whomever thought about including them on the options list for the GLE when it was produce is nuts.

 

That will be a hard sell until some different wheels are fitted. Looks absolutely ridiculous.

I wouldn't say that. It's 19" wheels so that's not small ("R84 19" Multi-Spoke Alloy Wheel Black $500"). There are even smaller size of wheels available for the GLE (18").

The issue there is that this GLE does not come with a lower suspension. And thus the look is not... so good...

Personnally, I would say that 20" wheels (with 275/50 R20 tires) is the right balance between comfort and look.

 

So close to perfection. If only it had the AMG styling and bigger wheels. Beautiful car, nonetheless.

 

Just like bigperm said, hard sell without the AMG night package and those wheels

 

murdered out with stroller wheels? zzzzzzzzzzzzz

 

Sold - but we snagged another one if anyone is interested. Will make a separate post with pictures.
