I got this mat recently and it goes right to the very edge of the scuff plate, no gap at all.

Either they revised the design recently, or the mat your dealership gave you is for a different model.

That’s the way they fitted from earlier. The only way it could gain coverage would be a cutout for the latch and that wouldn’t gain much. The taper of the lift gate makes that additional area nearly unusable. I like the factory mat....it may take a little extra effort loading but it grips well & there is very little sliding around of any cargo. The lip will contain liquids.

Cargo Mats

WeatherTech has them now. P/N 401265. They fit perfectly and look good.

Has anyone seen any good ones that accommodate the third row without having to remove it?

I got the weather techs for the interior and cargo area. They fit great. The only downside to weathertech is that they never cover the entire foot rest on the drivers side. Kinda annoying but fit and finish is amazing.
