Load floor mat?
There are some here: https://configurator.mercedes-benz-a...ransporter=car.
Frankly, what we've used on my ML and this is a high quality black moving blanket which you can fold in different configurations for the rear area, whole rear, or flip down over the bumper. Looks good, protects well and is inexpensive. We hauled a ton of stuff in our '12 over almost 7 years and the rear was perfect when we sold it. I hauled four wheel/tires today.

My dealer furnished all weather Mercedes mats & cargo liner as a Comp. The floor mats are great.
The cargo liner is hard slick plastic and the sides are tall, about 8”. You lose space because of the sides-the rear seat slants back so there is a large gap in back. The sides have a little of the same just not as bad. Weather Tech has mats now but still don’t have a custom cargo mat. They have one you can trim. They said they were working on a cargo mat but nothing yet, More inquiries to show a demand might help.

[QUOTE=GregW / Oregon;7777196]You got the deep version of the "cargo tub." The shallow one (as shown in the link I posted) would probably be better (#A1678140100): QUOTE]
Thanks Greg, I’ll have to. Check it out. I heard that the Cargo area is about the same as from the prior Gen. That’s all I want is a low rubber mat but the high wall might come in handy for a nasty load like steer manure for the garden.

[QUOTE=Bubba3;7777644]Na I like the fresh stuff....gets rid of that new car smell... Yes I have a trailer but for a bag or two in the spring I might throw them in the back and open all the windows. If it’s dry it isn’t bad but spring rains bring out the smell so that would be a no no. My cars are non smoking and I’m careful what I put in the that might leave an odor.
Your question is valid though! I know a true story from many years ago where a customer from a Native American tribe in Toppenish WA financed a new Ford car on a full recourse contract with a bank. He had bought and paid for several used cars so had a track record. He hauled Salmon in the trunk and back seat. After a year or two the car was Repo’d and had to be sold for Salvage.

I've decided to go with the Mercedes branded boot tub and stowage crate for the cargo area. I have a stowage crate for my S550 and it is real handy for running errands around town. It takes up a lot of room so it has to be removed if hauling luggage or anything large. The stowage crate has indentations on the bottom that line up with the nodes on the boot tub that keep it from moving around.

I haven't bought them yet but I inquired at the dealer and they said that they could get them in 3 or so days. Here are the part numbers to use:
Boot tub: A1678140100
Stowage crate: A0008140400

Stowage crate: A0008140400

I have been using a 3' x 5' snag mat I got from Home Depot since 2013. Here's a photo when it was in my 2013 Durango. It now resides in my 2014 GL. It gives a nice balance between being able to slide the golf clubs in and out vs some friction to hold stuff still. If you really need non-slip surface you can turn it upside down. The snag feature grabs all the grass and crap that falls off the golf shoes and clubs. A Dyson V7 cleans it in 30 seconds. It's "trimable" in that you can cut it and it won't fray. At the time they came in charcoal and dark brown. Best of all? $17.00. You can toss it if it looks ratty. Mine still looks ok after 6 years of use.

I may have to go this route or something similar. The link above shows the MB mat will not work if equipped with a 3rd row. Maybe I’ll try and get measurements on the mat and see if it works with the 3rd row down. That way I can remove the mat on the rare instances I need to use the 3rd row.

By the way, the part number for the stowage crate is a newer part number. The dealer suggested that it is probably the same thing from a different vendor.
