Lower when getting in/on

Mine lowers as long as I'm going less than 19 mph. I usually hit it before or during parking by hitting the Vehicle button which takes you to Quick Access, then selecting it.

Instrument Panel settings: What you guys doing? I've been keeping the left side as speedometer, right side as Rev Counter (what's that called?) OR Navigation (in case I switch the infotainment screen away from Navi and I need it) and the center as the radio so its easy to change the station from the wheel. Feel strongly about that last one but what are you guys doing???

I go for the amber sport colours, my wife prefers the standard blue.
Left dial is speedometer, right dial alternates between tachometer and NAV. Center info is related to the short trip mileage and average fuel consumption.

Renaming custom Themes

Hi, my first forum post, first time Mercedes owner... I've added some new themes via MBUX, but whenever I try and rename them it just reverts to the default name. Anyone else see this? I'm definitely pressing Save after renaming...

Look in your Favorites list, my navigation entries are also stored there and when I long press on them Rename is an option. I could not do this through the Navigation menu

Thanks for your reply: I tried that but the only menu option that comes up is "Delete".

It is the Favorites list within the Home screen options (also accessible by the asterisks button), not the Navigation area. I just checked again and when I long press on a navigation favorite in that list I see Move, Rename, and Delete. The renamed favorite then shows up changed within the Navigation menu favorites with a changed name.

If you put the home screen up by pressing the home screen button for centre screen, swipe up on screen and favourites appear (you may have to scroll along to find the favourites you have saved). When the favourite you want to change appears LONG press on it and the option to rename appears.

On informal terms with MBUX, plus other new functions

That is nice but I had to turn the feature off because it worked without saying "Hey". No one in the car could use the word Mercedes in normal conversation without the thing asking what it could do for me! That was just too annoying!!!!

New MBUX features I would like to see, “Hey Mercedes, how many Corona virus cases are there near my current location?“
