Hello All,
I am considering a GLE 350 (vs an X5) and have a question about the GLE350's seats that salesmen haven't been able to answer. I think that they do, but before doing a factory order (cince no one has my configuration) I am trying to confirm that the multicontour seats in the 350 have adjustable side bolsters. My wife has back and sciatica issues, so the bolsters in the X5 were great to help keep her supported during turns without using her leg to brace herself. Do the multicontour seats in the 350 have the same ability? I actually think they go a step beyond the X5 because they can dynamically adjust based on turning, but no dealers near my have the multicontour seats on their lots. Can anyone who has them give me a brief overview of the side bolster features? I tried to search but nothing came up for the GLE. I assume the seats are the same across the MB lineup, but the fact that no one at a dealership can tell me anything about them is concerning.
Thanks.

Tell the dealer to get MB on the horn and ask them, no answer, no sale, answer at least you'll know can make a decision. Or have the dealer pull up the dealer order guide on his computer right in front of you and there should be a very detailed explanation of the seat option that you both can read.
Thanks. So far I have just got the feeling that they are telling me what I want to hear.

Then write into them that when the car comes you don't have to take it if the are not as described with adjustable bolsters. Bet that'll get their attention.
Or find another dealer.

Yes, the multicontour seats have 10 levels of adjustability on the side bolsters.

Look at e-abc option on the 450 and no more leaning so she won't have the problem no matter what seat.
Thanks, all. Finally tried out the seats and while the bolsters do inflate, they don't adjust into turns. Still went ahead and ordered a 350.
