Snapped these today in my area here in Alabama. It’s the 53 model as confirmed by front brakes and my buddy at the factory. Exhaust tips are not the official. Also have pics of the reg GLE 53 I can post if desired but it’s fully uncovered and looks still basically like the reg GLE.

Surprised that grill is on 53, would have thought it would be reserved for 63.

I would expect differences in the front valance/intakes and perhaps a different spoiler. Personally I'm happy to get some AMG aesthetics on the lower levels, but it does tend to lessen the prestige of the top model.
I'm crossing my fingers the AMG-Lite will have a pale interior option in three years time when I return the lease on the 450 because I really like that Panamericana grille.
It's either you hate it or love it, the coupe version, that is. I have a 20 GLE AMG line on order. Been contemplating if I should buy the 19 GLE 43 AMG Coupe, the 20 GLE 450 (on ordered) or wait for the next GLE coupe.
Every time I see the GLE coupe, it draws my attention. Despite what other things of it, I absolutely love it. It reminds me of the Tesla X.
Anyhow, given that the interior went through a refresh with the MBUX, I have a feeling I will regret buying a 2019 with the command system, knowing its already dated.
Anyone know when the new GLE coupe is expected to be released?..specifically AMG?
The full new coupe is a good evolution. I think the new light are much like the new CLS. I have a pic of the side fully uncovered but sorry can’t post that. Sad thing is the pic i have is of a car that was damaged some how and is missing all the front body work.
Will there be a non-AMG version of the GLE coupe? My wife likes the look of the GLE coupe, but not the ‘hot-rod’ personality (loud muffler, wide tires).
She likes the look of the GLC coupe, but not the size.
