GLE53 Coupe Avalibility?
Has anyone heard when the GLE53 Coupe will be available to order? Considering the GLE53 and the X6 M5.0.

Yeah, I’ve seen them in dealerships already. Hey @JRTouareg what color is that?

@JRTouareg I thought it was that color but it has a lot of blue in it in those photos. Looks nice.

I had v6s in all my Cayennes, last was a V6 "S". I was going to upgrade to an "S" Coupe but Porsche when optioned the same as the MB was almost $30K more! My dealer sells both brands and are next to each other. He asks me to look at the AMG53 Coupe. Engine performance is similar with Porsche feeling a little quicker in accelerating when flooring the vehicle for passing but the AMG is no slouch. Porsche handling was definitely more nimble since it weighs about 700 lbs. less. Ride quality is very similar but Porsche suspension isolated the unexpected bumps and irregularities in the road better. Maybe because it had 21" rims vs the 22s on the AMG. Cayenne also had all-season tires vs the summer tires on the AMG. To sum up to this point, the AMG is very close to the Porsche in performance and handling but give a very slight nod to the P car. Interior wise, no contest, MB is way above the P car. I'm happy with my decision with the switch just because of the way Porsche nickel and dimes you to death with options. We'll have to wait to see if the quality of the Alabama built MB is just as good as the Porsche. My uncle had an Alabama built 2013 ML AMG that had all kinds of quality issues. I know the quality of the Hondas went down when they started building the Pilots in Alabaama.

Thanks JRTouareg. Yes the biggest "problem" with Cayenne S specifically (and Porsche in general) is that if one checks enough boxes (extraordinary patience is required to accomplish this task), one is quickly at well optioned (not everything, but all "needed") GLE63S price. Needless to say I would take the latter.
