Purchased Mercedes/Garmin watch and was hoping it worked better with the energizing coach! Has any one got it to work properly after syncing it with the me app? Unlike the apple watch the Garmin doesn’t even offer the me app or any of its functionality? I’m kind of disappointed with Garmin and Mercedes because they made it sound like you would be able to unlock doors and start the car without the key, etc.

I was going to cheap out and just buy the vivo 3 Garmin on sale during Boxing Day but wasn’t sure if it was compatible. My dealer ended up having one exclusive Mercedes one at Over double the cost no doubt but right now I’m having buyers remorse.
I paid $350 for the smartwatch delivered from Germany before I realized that currently the system only works with an iPhone.
My dealer here on Long Island had never heard of the Mercedes-Garmin watch or connecting through the smartwatch to Garmin Connect to me Connect to the GLE.
Are you using an iPhone? If so, does Energizing Coach receive your heart rate/stress level? Does it then adjust massage, music, etc.?

So far it only shows connection between iPhone/Mercedes Me “garmin eco system”. The car doesn’t display anything under coach menu and must not be communicating?
"Compatible Garmin fitness trackers are limited to Vivoactive 3, Vivosmart 3 & 4, Fenix 5s, and Fenix Chronos. If there are measurement inaccuracies, the heartrate will not be used as a parameter in the ENERGIZING Coach algorithm. This service is only available with iOS devices. The smartphone must be the primary device paired to the vehicle via Bluetooth, and it must have the Mercedes me connect app and Garmin connect app."
That is quoted from the description under Manage Services in me Connect, so your Garmin watch apparently will work not at this point.
According to this statement, my Android phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 doesn't work either. However, the "chief" Conceirge at my dealership and the MBUSA tech thinks it should, BUT it doesn't.
Ola Källenius made a huge big deal in announcing the Energizing Comfort/Energizing Coach and smartwatch connection at CES2019, but I had to buy my M-B/Garmin vivoactive 3 watch off eBay from an M-B dealer in Germany since the US dealers still haven't seen any yet.
Mercedes-Benz has made a mess of this just like the original 2020 GLE launch IMHO.
When I was in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the Long Island Expressway, it once required razor-edge full alert to survive. At one time it felt like I'd just done 30 laps at Watkins Glen in my Porsche GT3!
Now, with the DA2 Driver Assistance Package, I turn on the "Stop and Go Automatic", "Active Distance Assist" and "Active Lane Keeping Assist". And I'm soooo muuuch less stressssed!
Admittedly, as the driver, you must maintain proper attention, but the GLE's systems handle the nitty gritty. And even though my Mercedes/Garmin watch doesn't do it automatically like it should, I can get a nice massage!!
When I arrive at the other end of the LIE, I feel so much better. So, I guess it's worth it.
I got the $50 vivosmart 3 from the above sale link, got it delivered today.
Tried on Android, it is not supported.
Now, tried on iPhone IOS, I can't go past, I am able to link Connect Me with garmin account, but Connect Me does not detect watch, says finding.... something is seriously wrong, we should sue Mercedes for this crap. False advertising.

Hi. Newbie in town.
I own a 2019 CLA 220 Shooting Brake and really like it. It’s a bit smaller than the E Class estate that it replaced but it makes up for it in gadgets and performance.
The new Mercedes Me 2020 app caused a few issues that have now been resolved. However one still remains. So: How do I get my Garmin VA3 watch to reconnect to the car so that the Energiser Coach can do it’s thing and keep me pampered and alert whilst driving?

Well I have GLE350e 2022 EU version cause I am from Poland, with this ENERGIZING comfort **** on board. it has this coach option, so i decided let try to use it. So i bought garmin mercedes vivoactive3. I installed Garmin Connect on my IPhone, then congigured it. So far so good. After this quick install of ENERGIZING app. Easy connection with garmin account, then app connects with mercedes ME app and on my phone i can see that Watch is sync with mercedes me, fine. So i start the GLE with Watch on. My wrist, i go to comfort section, then ENERGIZING Coach and… big nothing:/ only screen with info „Pulse frequency and heart rate can not be displayed”. There is no info about troubleshooting. Any ideas?
Have you tried going to Google Play Store (on, searching Mercedes me Energizing, going to Developer Contact and emailing them (at Mercedes Stuttgart) for assistance??

I use iPhone 13 and yes I downloaded mercedes ME ENERGIZING app. Garmin is configured via Garmin Connect app, garmin account joined to mercedes ME account, energizing ME app is also configured and connected to mercedes ME. When I check mercedes ME energizing app I can see my blood rate, steps etc. But on main screen of infoentertainment only info that blood rate can not be shown.

From what little I just learned from M-B USA Customer Service, the the infotainment display should show health info via cellphone through Bluetooth to the car.

Huraaaaa! After last upgrade of app to version 2.0.3 my Apple Watch is connected via Apple Health to Mercedes Energizing and finally this **** works. Bad News is garmin Vivoactive 3 by Mercedes is no longer compatible with Mercedes Energizin:/
