2021 GLE 53 order questions
Hello all . I am in the process of ordering a GLE 53 in New York . Delivery expected in June or July . On the original order sheet that I found on this site it showed that the Burmeister upgrade was standard as part of the premium package. On my order it's no longer Burmeister but the dealer is required to order - 810 Harmon/Kardon Sound System with Dolby 5.1. Also, the Premium Package is no longer available and heated seats have to be ordered separately (873) and the Driver Assistance Package (DA2) cannot be ordered with the AMG Black MB-Tex Dynamica interior. Anybody have a similar experience or have any idea why these have been changed?

There is an error in the ordering sheet. Harmon Kardon is not a supplier for the V167 GLE. Burmester is.

That's what I thought. I just spoke to the dealer and he says its been changed to Harmon Kardon for 2021.

I completed an order sheet with my salesman/dealer earlier this week for a 2021 GLE 53 SUV. I also had to select Harman Kardon (810) instead of Burmeister for the base stereo. I inquired about it today after reading this thread but they said the 53 SUV will only offer Harman Kardon.

I think a change of supplier at this stage in the game would be a big deal. I doubt that is the case, but stranger things have happened.

Thanks GregW and mercedesmax. My dealer was utilizing the Netstar configurator so I assumed it was accurate. Is there any way to get access to what is on the configurator currently. I have the preliminary draft of the DOG from last month but it is not exactly the same as what is currently on Netstar. Thanks again.

I thought Harmon Kardon was the base audio system. The one you get if you don't get the premium package which includes Burmester (the base level of burmester)
