GLE 580 Standard options (VS 450)

GLE 580 Standard options (VS 450)
I'm having some trouble being clear on what the standard options are for a GLE580. Can any of you who work at dealerships help? It's of interest to me because it seems that a built with all options of a GLE450 to my taste is essentially a GLE580, with the kicker of a turbo 8 engine. Pricewise, it's a close call considering the engine upgrade but I've driven the turbo 6 and it seemed pretty healthy.

I think if you do the math there is still like a $7k difference, which is what your are paying for the V8.

Not a dealer, but I think you are asking what are GLE 450 options that are standard equipment on the 580. This is a list of what I know, aside from the V8:
- AMG Line Exterior Package
- Premium Package
- Airmatic
- Leather upholstery
- Passenger seat memory
I think if you do the math there is still like a $7k difference, which is what your are paying for the V8.

That document doesn't help me. When I click from pages 7 and 8, the only difference is the engine specs. What I'm used to seeing with new cars is that booklet that lists the different models, and what is standard, and what is optional for each - all of it on a table. The mbusa website is ok with that information, but you have to go to each models section/page/tab.
Anyways, I get the jest of it. If the economy tanks enough to hurt mb sales, I'll probably cave in and buy one...assuming I don't find a killer W108 or W109 :-)

They stopped a few years ago because its easier to upsell in stock inventory that way. I noticed a few years ago at a BMW dealership, when I asked for one. I normally go to Edmunds.com for that, but the GLE580 isn't there yet.

Comparably Priced GLE580 and GLE450
First off - the GLE580 is a EXCEPTIONAL GLE - "just the powertrain" is downplaying over 500hp and HUGE torque - powertrain that exceeds a base GT Sport Coupe
I have attached two specs sheets - both "real" GLE's - comparable's "about" the same MSRP - a well equipped GLE580 - and a very/very well equipped GLE450
Just trying to help - yes - with Mercedes it can take research for your to decide your "Perfect-Mercedes-For-You" especially with the choices Mercedes allows you to decide at this price point.
If you want to maxmize "Luxury" then find a rare "loaded" GLE450 - if you want to maximize your driving enjoyment the GLE580 is BAD ***.
