Location info is good
Hey, guys (and gals), it's really helpful to know where posters are posting from. We have people from around the US and from around the world and this info really helps inform the discussion. Options, conditions, regulations, etc. are different all over.
To add your location, Click on "User CP" in the bar upper left of the page, then Your Profile > Edit Your Details > Additional Information > Location > Where You Live. And/or you can create a signature with this info.

Completely agree that location info is extremely relevant (at least country) as package, options and even model years are different and makes it more difficult to assist.
This has been brought up before but from my understanding is a technical issue. After all, that location info is optional but the country info is mandatory in creating any account. Problem is that the country info can't be shown where location is shown. IF you want to know a poster location, you have to click on the posters name and select "View Public Profile" and look for country of residence.
Not great but it may help at bit...

Just checked on BMW X5 forum and everybody has their location on there so must be compulsory, obviously doesn't check this as someone has their location as "Hellhole", unless there is actually a place called that.
