I came across this video. Notice the rear seat at around the 10:50 mark. I've never seen the rear seat armrest in this configuration before. Also notice that the rear seat cupholders have been moved. I don't recall this option on the order list so must be something available only outside of the US
And it’s a 63 no S? I wonder what engine it has? Also surprised to see all the different options available in Europe...that’s not making it any easier for the Assembly Line in Vance.
In markets where taxes make these vehicles significantly more expensive, Mercedes offered more choice, individual options, and high end features. In much of Europe you can order the second row power seats without the third row. Certain models
offer the executive rear seat. It would be nice if they offered it in the US. I’m not sure the 575hp non S GLE63 would sell much though.
I wish they offered the executive rear seat option here. I definitely would have ordered it. My car has power 2nd row seats with no 3rd row, but that's probably because a 3rd row isn't offered on the 63.
As far as a non-S GLE63, I believe that this year is the first time MB has not offered a non-S version of the GLE63 in the US. They offered non-S versions on the older models. My previous 2 63's were non-S. At the time, the difference between the S and non-S versions didn't justify the price difference to me so I always ordered the non-S and then added a tune to compensate for the power differences.
Yea,I have these options on my 53, the cup holders sticking out make the middle seat a little bit more narrow, the extra charging options are nice though. The tablet looks cool, but We barely use it

Just curious, what functionality does the tablet provide?
