Mercedes Me “ session timed out”

Two days ago I went to use my Mercedes Me app on iPhone. It came back saying “session timed out”. Then it would not open, saying it didn’t recognize my email. Anyone else have this problem? They don’t offer a solution.

Yes, it's down in Canada as I said. The Canadian version of the app was pulled from the app store, due to a major issue with the latest update.

I looked at the app today...there were autumn leaves dropping from the top of the screen....really. They should spend their time on usability issues instead of entertainment.

Just to add to this old thread....
Anyone else frustrated by the very slow refresh/update location and status on this app? I'm using Ver 3.30 (USA) and have to open and close it 2-3 times in order for it to show the vehicle location. In the old app (used in the V166 ML) there was a refresh button that allowed you to easily update vehicle status and location, but I don't see any options here.

Don't have that issue at all. The status and location updates as soon as I open the app. The only time it doesn't update is if there's an outage or the car has a weak or no cellular signal where it's parked, for example in an underground parking structure. The app just shows the latest status and location stored in the cloud, so if it doesn't get updated then the issue is most likely with your car having communication issues. The HERMES module occasionally locks up and needs to be reset, but I haven't had that issue. A couple of weeks ago they seemed to do an update on the backend and my status and location wasn't updating for a day or so, but it eventually all came back and has been reliable since. I leave my car unlocked in my garage, so I know the status is being updated the moment I get the notification that the car is unlocked within a few minutes of parking in the garage and trip data etc. always updates immediately. The location of the car is even updated as I drive.

Nope, I've never had that problem. Are you on Android or iPhone? Which model?

Thanks everyone. I'm on a Samsung S21 w the latest updates. I noticed this issue when I checked on the car while shopping on a couple of occasions.. Good cell service in those locations, so I'm not sure why this occurred.. At any rate, your comments were helpful and I'll see if I still experience it over time.

I believe they just lowered it to $150 per year for everything. Just a few months ago they charged a la carte and the total amount for each feature, it was around $185. They probably ran the purchase data and figured out they would make more money by doing a complete feature package @ $150 vs letting people pick and choose features to save a little on their annual fees and not waste money on useless features to them.
