From the eBay listing:
Hey, pretty sure that last one is the same part number I (and others) suggested months ago!!
Anyway happy you found it, and Merry Christmas all!
You, did, but Every time I tried to source that number, I hit a dead end. It would show as replaced by a new part number which I tried ordering and ended up being the wrong part and no other source seemed to have it. My dealers part dept couldn't get it as well. The Ebay solution was perfect, Thanks
So I ordered this one since it showed that it was less expensive, but to my surprise when it just arrived it was just the accelerator and not the brake pedal like the eBay listing, When you go the mercedesbenzpartsstore.com website it also shows both pedals and also shows Sports pedals (plural) on their invoice. So I called them and they pretty much couldn't care less and said I could send it back with a 20% restock fee. After pushing them that their website shows both parts, they basically said they couldn't help me and to send it back but the would waive the 20%. What a crock of __it. At least if the guy said he would try to see why it didn't have both parts. A big avoid unless you are sure about you part or parts.. I should have just kept the Ebay one :-( What a bummer.

You went through ALL of that to save $50 and you own a Mercedes Benz.... lol

Lesson Learned My friend, lesson learned - because of these guys I just ended up wasting my time since I'll have to just buy the other other part for $40 so in the end I spent all that energy to save a whopping $10 and get at least $100 worth of aggravation as a bonus for my stupidity :-)

Lots of successful people look for the best deal. If service isn’t a factor then why not…?

Agreed, as I do as well however the time and aggravation he went through to save $50 in the end just wasn't worth it. If it was purchased locally and he found it cheaper somewhere locally then it makes sense. Dealing with these online seller's can be a pain when things don't work out.

Thinking about it, I don't feel there is anything wrong (whether you own an MB, Porsche or Honda) in saving $50 off of a $200 purchase. Now, having said that, I would have gladly paid a bit more for a local shop that had it (no local parts dept's had any idea what I wanted) and poor representation of what they were selling made this a really long stupid exercise with the people i ordered from after. Obviously had I any inkling of the adventure I would have just kept it. Anyway, I'll be happy once I get my money back from the people at mbpartscenter.com and have the sports pedals to install in my GLE.

You are absolutely correct, I do it as well. I was just referring to the hassle you went through. Good luck with your peddles and hope to see a pic of them installed soon!

I’m happy something good came out of it. Now cross fingers these guys stick to their promise to not charge me the restock fee since their part page is misleading😬
Asking if many of you have had any delivery issues with Ali items/ and or dispute success? Based on this thread I ordered a few items. All of them came with no issues except one (the silver window switch trim for the doors). Ali's tracker show it was delivered, but I never got it,... I know this happens (deliveries go astray), but they seem like this is impossible since the tracker shows it was delivered. Other, than a new lesson learned (don't do business with Ali) not sure what to do? It's without saying that their customer service is not like Amazon. Oh, and I will contact my pay method so not terribly worried about it,.. but I still wanted the item, which I told them (not necessarily wanting a refund). I kind of thought that might help the argument, like why I would still want a set if I had gotten it? I know that would not disprove I was running a scheme:? Thanks for input.
Just be careful with these inexpensive modifications. Problem is that these cheap mods are usually not the best quality. Lots of times they malfunction(lights) or break very easy. Things like hub inserts are usually fine. Things like aftermarket headlight or lighting or even units tends to go bad. I keep my cars are close to OEM as I can.
Yeah I was only buying interior or cosmetic things anyway (not performance parts). Funny they closed out my dispute today saying for the 2nd time that my reasons were "invalid" because I did not provide proof that I did not receive the item. Then they sent me a "resolution" survey. LOL. I said I learned my lesson, and probably took way to much time hoping to help them with their customer service model. After 20+ years with Ebay, Amazon and few others, I think I can avoid "ali express" until they can, as a company, help their small vendors when a few percent of the time things go wrong.
Not from Ali Express but pretty sure you can find it there as well.
These are the 64-color LED tweeter grills that come with the Bermester Premium Sound system on the W/V167. I hated seeing the plain black grills on the A-pillar speakers when just below the mids had the beautiful aluminum ones.
Installation is fairly simple as long as you know and have experience with trim and panel removal as well as wiring. I will be doing mine this holiday weekend!
Thanks. That illuminated speaker completes the look of ambient lighting in the cars.
Of course I miss the excellent sound of the High End Burmester, but I also miss the look. (Had it on our 2020.)

Sorry for dragging up an old post but what source did you use for the covers ? how are they holding up today ? I saw quite a few listings for them an eBay I imagine its all the same grill with multiple sellers but I figured I would ask before I purchase a set. I would have loved to get the 3d system when I ordered my 580 however at the time I felt like I wanted the interior assistant instead but I never heard the high end system so I naively dont know what I am missing.

So far so good. They look as though they came from Mercedes and illumination is just as well. No complaints whatsoever.
A must!
