What's involved in the wiring?

Hey Greg, ill let you know how my experience goes once the pieces arrive. It seems pretty straight forward and plug and play with pass throughs. I had one of the sellers send me the install instructions before I ordered. the only lights that seem a bit more involved is the pano roof sky lounge lights. the sheet has an asterisk and notation about programming.

My 2020 had the 3D, and I miss the sound very much.

But what surprises me, is how much I miss the look of that tweeter ambient lighting. It really completes the interior look of the car in my opinion.

Hope the installation works well.

Installation is very straight forward.

- Remove the existing "Ford Mustang-ish" plastic speaker cover from A-pillar using a trim removal tool.
- Remove the door panel (instructions were sent on removal by another member).
- The kit comes with a "Y" adapter plug.
- At the ambient light module on the door, disconnect the wire that plugs into position 6 and plug in the "Y" adaptor.
- The end that was removed from position 6 now plugs to one end of the Y adaptor.
- The other end goes up to connect with the new LED speaker grill.
- Test to make sure all lighting functions including color changes.
- Reassemble door panel.
