GLE 450 mod Brembo GT kit in 20 inch wheels

Just finished installing the 380mm kit on my 450. Still haven’t bedded them yet. I will update the paddle feeling afterwards.
For anyone who is also interested in bbks, the AMG 20 inch wheels need spacers to clear enough space for this kit.

Quite a hassle to get them fitted but yeah they look way better than the stock ones come with AMG package.

Looking good! Haven't got my GLE yet but already looking at getting a nice brake set.

Looks good... I wonder if the AMG brakes from the GLE53 would fit on the 450 with the 20" wheels and if so how the cost would compare to the Brembo?

It might fit, but I recommend you to double check with your supplier. The cost to buy amg brake sets is way lower than brembo. You can get a deal for half of the brembo price.

Probably not for most people, but the floating calipers are pretty wimpy. Mercedes is missing out by not offering the better brake package as an option. I might have sprung for it if under $5k.

I think you can get AMG brakes for that price. You need to check with your supplier tho.

I ordered some 10mm spacers on all corners. For me the difference is day and night. Much better pedal feeling now.

The spacers I got were custom made locally. If you talk to your local shop they might CNC one for you as well. As for the bolt I don’t know exactly the length of it but it should be 10 mm longer than the stock ones.

Would you mind sharing a list of all the parts you used with part numbers, please?
