First of all, my post is general information for everybody.
Second, the screens are not what "I have" but what is on the Official MB server as of today.
Meaning that it's likely a partial update only, not complete the USA map or that they didn't put it on the Official MB download server yet
I really don't want to buy maps from you, when they're free from Mercedes.
They also couldn't manage their website certificate. When I checked yesterday, the certificate was revoked. If you check the website certificate, it was re-issued yesterday.
Back to the topic, full map installed. Download is fast (I have gigabit internet), took about half an hour to install. One thing I learn, is to remove all existing files from the USB drive, including previous map data. The downloader said it will do that, but it only seems to clear some files, and left previous map files. This cause the older Satellite data to be installed along with the new map.
The total size of the download is about 23.4GB (base on the files on my USB drive), and that is for the full North America map.

Just for your knowledge. Certificates are automated by hosting companies these days. And they always have been fine.

I believe 2024 has a refreshed MBUX system (NTG 7) vs the previous one (NTG 6). I will update the main post for that information.
My 2024 is running RL_NTG7_E330.602_23063ac3 to be exact. That’s with the new AMG steering wheel.
So far this version seems to be very well done except for being a little fragmented and it seems less inclined to make finding things easier. It’s been 18 months comparing to my 2021 and only a couple of days with the new car…so I’m probably overreacting a little getting used to it.
Map version 2024 (V21.0) is now available to download. This is for the MBUX with NTG 6 system. Mercedes me Download Manager is the same version, 1.0.12
Remember to format your USB drive before downloading the full map. The download manager only clear some files but not all of them.
I tried checking the web portal for an online map update but it keeps giving me an error message. The code keeps changing every time I try but always has the (NO_VIN) after the code. Contacted Mercedes Me Connect Support, and they seem clueless.

I got the same error if I go to the Mercedes Me website and navigate to the map update section. But if I use the link included in the email, it works.

Also, it seems like you have a 2024, so I believe you are on a newer version of the MBUX system (NTG 7) so your map version/update could be different.

Thank you! That seemed to work! I didn't get the error message and it opened up the download manager and it is preparing my memory card now.
I believe I saw some verbiage on the web portal page saying that the maps will update in the background as you use the vehicle. I chose to do the complete map upgrade which was about a 26gb download. I went from v13 of the maps to v19. I figured that was quicker than letting it update little by little.
The web portal is pretty cool in that it shows you the map of North America (if you're in NA) and it shows you the version number of your installed maps when you click on the different regions. Regions that are green have been updated.

As long as you have your home region selected on the web portal, that specific region can be updated OTA. But for all other regions and any additional data (POI?), it requires a manual update via a USB drive.

I've seen that error screen often, but it seems to resolve itself if I do nothing and wait for a few minutes.

Nice tip. Worked for my 2021 and 2024 cars. Dunno why the website is so broken. Last night it was downloading at ~4MB/s for one car and took hours, this morning 40MB/s for the other car.
Looks like another update just dropped. Got my OTA update for my home region, and is downloading the full map now. (I was surprised to see OTA drop so fast this time)
2024 (V22.0) - This is the version for NTG6 system. NTG7 system most likely will have a different version number.
