Wrong comparison, new Iwatch is better than a ten year old Rolex. My wife and I have relegated the Rolexes to the souvenir box. Could never wear anything but the new Iwatch.

Now back to your cars, you are driving a low horsepower redundant car that should be recycled. We are all tired of your ignorant, know nothing comments. Spend more time in your driveway cleaning up after that leaking oil bucket of a car. Just go away, you smell.

And here we see what happens when the one-sixty-lemon buyers remorse hits stage 3. Don't worry, you'll get to return your rented one-sixty-lemon soon enough. Then you can decide which will be the next car you'll never own. Thank you in advance for contributing to the disposable part of our economy. I'll see you soon in my rearview mirror, as my 600 horsepower sedan embarrasses you in front of your touchscreen, that is, if it hasn't gone blank yet!

Give it a break…you are so embarrassed by what you drive that you removed them so that you can brag about your old junk without having to fess up.
Your comments are redundant, so you might work on some new lines or plagiarize someone else’s. Sorry-redundant might be too complicated…I should say you keep repeating yourself with the same old attack lines. Soccer mom, can’t afford, rented, etc-you need to hone up on your insults they aren’t effective and are oh so boring…

Everyone let's welcome Ron back, after his compulsive evening cocktails of course. Ron, how much money did you lose today in depreciation? Asking for a financial manager friend of mine...

Here's a laugh for you....fess up Ronnie about the 10mm wrench that you carry around like a baby blanket, ya know, to "reboot" your disaster on wheels. You're a bad liar. Have another drink but please don't kick the dog.

You may be old and forgetful but no one has used a 10mm since April-May 2019. You keep dodging the issue about your junk heap…post your cars agin so that we can have a laugh…I know it’s too embarrassing to come out in the open. Just because you can’t afford a new one, I guess you can try to extract some revenge by disparaging others that can afford what they want.
Those that can, do…Those that Can’t, talk smack on a Forum. We have your number….

2021 GLE 450
To: Ron.s/ Mikapen and other posters

I have received a lot of good advice from these two posters over the last 6-8 months. To me, they both know their cars and what makes them run good and not so good but the bottom line is they always seem to come forward with what I would call suggestions. This bickering accomplishes nothing to this subject.
If a person doesn’t like a certain model, then okay but others might.
I always am looking for solid advice to one of my questions and the 2 posters I mentioned are good at that. There are other too who also add good suggestions as well. I own 3 Rolex watches but could care less about them, I’m interested in my 2021 GLE 450.
As Ron said recently and I thought was a good point, there are thousands of these models out on the road but we are seeing a very small percentage of these problems.
Just my 2 cents on this thread.

Thanks Toban…I got carried away again, these kind of discussions serve no useful purpose. I already decided to ignore the three doomsday guys.

Good point. I have a serious question Ron. Do you feel the driver's seat moves far enough forward to accommodate those of "reduced" stature. Tell us about your real-world experience.

Cosigned! Ron is one of the most helpful people here. His pure love for the AMG 53 and his great descriptions of it almost makes me wish I'd gotten one of those instead! I'm new around here and have enjoyed his posts as well as those of many others. I'd name more names but am afraid I'd leave someone out.

This other guy is clearly the same poster who posts on the Reddit Benz forum under a different name. His tone in the last couple days made the connection for me. What motivates trolls, I will never understand. Let's all agree to ignore him entirely going forward.

Correction, that's a GLE 53, NOT an AMG 53. Marketing badges don't make a six cylinder an AMG, even though your rental payments may seem like it.

Next is to read the W213 section of this site and learn about owners' 48V system experience. It seems to be consistent with the V167.

Next after that is to hope for the sake of the W223 owners that MB gets the 48V system right.

Regarding V167 platform this statement is NOT accurate. It IS accurate regarding W166 platform (I have both 43 and 63, so I know).

V167 53 and 63 look identical inside/outside when standard 63 equipment is added to 53 (though W166 43 can be equipped in such a way that it actually looks better than 63 IMO). Most importantly V167 53 can be equipped with identical hardware, accept the engine, as 63 - specifically the magnificent brakes and ARC (while W166 43 could be equipped with Active Curve, a very very rare option not even available for my 43 build, 63's brakes were not available).

V167 53 (as all current 53s throughout MB lineup) IS an AMG.

LOL. Only the most important piece...the engine. Also, "standard 63 equipment is added" to make it look like an AMG.

I do not have 167 mostly because of "tech issues" and will not consider one until those "tech issues" are resolved. BUT, 53 doesn't just look like 63!

53 handles exactly like 63 because the suspention (with optional ARC) is identical. 53 stops like 63 because it has identical (optional 63) brakes. (Of course 53 does not accelerate like 63).

My statement (53 specifically to V167 and even across MB line up IS AMG, while 43 was/is not) is based on comparison of V167 53 vs. 63 and W166 43 vs. 63.

I guess that means that the E55 in your moniker isn't a real AMG, since it's built by Porsche, right?

Check your facts. The only tirades I see here are from Ron and the Brit, who both constantly attack those who express their opinions about these rolling disasters.
