Pano Sunshade Tinting Issue
So, I had my Pano sunroof tinted and somehow the shop got the sunshade soaked in baby shampoo and water leaving a nice and healthy stain across the it. MB stated the shade will have to be replaced. Anyone want to take a guess on the cost of the part and labor to replace the sunshade? 😂😂 On a side note, the shop is covering the fees.

I was thinking about $700-$800. I feel like a lot of repairs for various things on Mercedes are always between $700 and $1,000.

So, boy did the team misquote me on price. The previous quote did not include labor. Total price is $2,780.00 for replacement.

Me too. They need to remove the entire headliner to replace it. The tint shop has been great and said they will cover it.

If it was a written estimate on the Work Order, and you didn't approve the increase, they are bound to the $850 they quoted.
