2020 gle350 FIRST 10K SERVICE A Cost
Hello All,
First time Mercedes bens owner and today I brought my car to local dealership(Not the one I bought it from). For Service A they are charging me $450 plus tax.
Just want to make sure this is the current price from dealership, just don't want to get rip off.

I did my first service (Flexible A Service) on my 2020 GLE 450 at one year mark with only 4572 miles and the cost from the dealer I purchased the car from
and the bill was $192.56.

i put 5700 miles on my GLS450 in 3 months. i had the car in for another issue (bumper alignment) and asked them to do an oil change. the cost was $200, but i got a $25 discount flyer in the mail so i used that. to my surprise, the invoice showed the oil at only $4.19 per quart, the screw plug was $22 and the filter was $18. they then backed into $120 for labor. it wasn't cheap, but i also expect it to be worse.

$450 is the cost of a B service here in ATX. $250-$325 is what the stealers charge here for an A service.
Its a crazy amount for a glorified oil change. It’s actually a really easy DIY if you feel inclined to take it on yourself.

Many dealers have service specials on their websites that give discounts on A or B service. You have to look around their website as they aren’t on the opening page. Go to the very bottom of the opening page for the website and then go down to the very bottom. Under “ Service” they usually have topics like “Schedule Service” and “Service Specials”. I purchased three years of prepaid maintenance for around $1200. Sounded like that was a good deal at the time!! With the onset of COVID and not driving very much, I am into my 26th month and only have 14k miles on it. I may only make it to my 2nd B maintenance if I am lucky. Might not have been a good deal under the circumstances!!!

Was $285.00 out the door for the Flex A , performed 8/19/2021 ......
To my horror or mis understating they have used the 229.5 oil , manual says 229.51 and 229.52 . Anyway that is topic of another thread here , where I attached the receipt.
