I hav a 2021 GLE 350, I did not purchase any upgrades with regard to the navigation system. I don’t see the posted speed limit on my screen either when I have my gps in use or not. I would imagine that the posted speed limit in the area should be displayed since it is very basic and useful information. My daughter has it on her GLB, however she did purchase some additional enhancement to her nav. Is it just not there on my vehicle, if not shame on you MB. I still like my GLE, even though it was rated the MOST UNRELIABLE vehicle for 2022 by CR.

Traffic sign assist is an option, it is not a standard feature. I have it and it works nicely, posting speed limit on main screen and in heads up display.

I find the speed limit option is bundled in an option package and a bummer. It works great and is nice to have. Someday I think it will end up standard.

I had Raj code speed limit assist on our ‘21 350; we have augmented navigation so the camera is there but for some reason even after he coded it the option shows as ‘unavailable’. He’s investigating but suspects there may be an upgrade needed to some camera related software.

Does this ring any bells with anyone? I have this in my ‘20 911 and even our ‘14 VW Beetle, I find it very helpful. Should be standard.

There’s the speed limit included in Android Auto maps…assume it’s there with Car Play too if you really need it.

it’s there on CarPlay but the map display is small and you cant have it on the instrument panel or HUD.

It's part of the driver assistance package. It uses the camera to read actual speed limit signs instead of just displaying potentially stale speed limit information from the navigation maps like Google Maps etc.
