Hi I am new to MBWorld. This past August, I saw a 2021 GLE 350 in Brilliant Blue in Delaware and it looked amazing. I am now ready to order a GLE 450, but don't see this color option anymore. Is it gone? If so would it be worth a special color order? Thanks. Rod

Blue is a very hard color to maintain.

It swirls very easily.

I've had similar blue cars.

Brilliant Blue is no longer available for model year 2022.
It's not confirmed if it's a permanent discontinuation, or if it will return for model year 2023.

I think spectral blue is "sort of" replacing BB.
Edit: oops, looks like it isn't available for the GLE either

I'm on my 5th MB with Lunar Blue. I've never had a swirl problem at all, even while using auto car washes. I do ensure that I always have a good wax on the car (ceramic on the current two.)

After having black and white cars, I will take blue over trying to maintain those colors!. YMMV.

My wife has E350 with Lunar Blue. I just picked up my 2022 GLE 450 with Lunar Blue. Mine is ceramic coated. Hers is not. They both look fantastic. Get tons of compliments on the color.

Brilliant Blue is only available in the AMG GLEs. I just picked up my 2022 Brilliant Blue GLE53 today.

It seems that starting with January 2022 production, the color will no longer be available. This goes for GLE and GLS models. It will probably apply to AMG too.

Yep. Seems that's so. Thanks for clarifying. That option is no longer shown on the "Build" portion of MBUSA's website. Too bad 'cause it is a beautiful option. I've had 3 vehicles with that paint color.

It might be worth looking into getting the car wrapped in Brilliant Blue.. Another member here wrapped their car in red.. I think I saw it in the Pictures thread.
