2024 GLE450 - LOVE IT
So far, so great. Got 5k miles on it.
Positives - drove 2k through 3 states first two weeks I had it. It was unbelievably quiet, smooth, and comfortable. Most comfortable ever car for 6 hour legs.
Negatives -
Parking assist is not as good as me, but in really tight spots it sometimes is better. But I don't like to use with traffic behind me. Plus, slow to recognize the parking spot,

38k on our 2020 450 w/ E-ABC. We love it and no major issues. Am pissed that there was no indication I needed all the active assists to make E-ABC fully functional (Road Surface Scan). Great vehicle with good performance and utility and very comfortable.

GLE 350
Mercedes GLE 350 4Matic
I leased my 2018 Mercedes GLE 350 4Matic for 36 months. After the lease ended in March 2021, I bought the car. I never had any issues with it. In fact, I have been driving Mercedes since the summer of 1983. My first Benz was a 300D (diesel) sedan. No problems at all. I kept that 300D for 13 years after clocking nearly 130K miles on it. The GLE 350 drives like a breeze and is easy to maintain. When the car was under warranty, I took it to the local Benz dealer but after the warranty expired in 36 months, I rarely took it to the dealer any more. I mostly took it to the local gas station for the oil and filter changes. It has nearly 37,000 miles on it. It is comfortable and has plenty of power.
I am thinking of upgrading to the GLE450e plug-in hybrid. But, I am also keeping an open mind by looking at the competition (Lexus 550h Sport, Toyota Land Cruiser, Acura MDX, Lexus GX550, etc.). Not in a hurry. So, I am waiting for interest rates to come down from their crazy levels now.

A 2023 gle53 parked besides me and he rolled down the window and ask me to rev the GLE 43 and he had a grin on his face. He told me it was the worst mistake he has done returning the gle43. He had 4 battery issues (4th one the battery got replaced), clunks and a fart exhaust. No regrets selling my 2021 GLE450. Only thing I miss is the very quick torgue of the 48v electric motor from dead stop but the sound of the exhaust makes up for it.
I am a believer that if you are at least buying the 450 you need airmatic on the vehicle. Without it the car is not special. There are a lot of cars that can do what a gle can and the airmatic elevates it to another level. If you can afford a +$80k vehicle, you can afford the airmatic and it's future cost to replace after 7-8 years,
