I received a notice that my GLE 450 4Matic is 'produced' but delayed. "STATUS B5 - PRODUCED NOT SHIP."
The note states "D30 - 02/23/22 -VPC DELAYED" Does anyone know what a D30 is?

D10 is VPC Received and D40 is VPC Ready. Just know it is held either for a missing part (most likely) or issue that needs correcting.

There is some hold right now on all GLE450's. I really would like to know what is going on because I have one that I was hoping would be built this week or next.

I remember a month or so back the GM of my store mentioned there will be an item that keeps GLE’s at the port. I believe its related to the power tailgate? But I can’t exactly remember what he mentioned.

Mercedes announced to the dealers that all GLE 450's would be held till the 2nd quarter of this year. Doesn't affect GLS 450's.
They didn't say why.

That is what I heard too. I am not after the why because mine started production

I checked with my dealer yesterday.
My 450 GLE is due end of this month
He didn't see any holds, but said anything is possible on a hold up

Mine is in production now and I do not expect it to release this quarter. I would tell your sales person to ask the GM.

My GLE 450 originally had a build date of Feb 3rd. Then got pushed to March 3rd. Still didn’t show up, so I got my sales-person to call the factory in Alabama. Someone there called her back and said it’ll be done March 28, today, and that it was some kind of parts issue. So, hopefully it was completed today and the stork will be dropping my baby off soon!

I ordered a silver 450 GLE a couple months back.
Checked with the dealer yesterday
Car was scheduled to be built this week and "expected" mid April.
Time will tell...I'm in no rush for the car

Ordered our GLE450 in October, was scheduled to be complete first week of Feb. Has been pushed back 4 times and still no completion date known. Like others on this forum was told by SA that there is an issue with a part for the exhaust and that my vehicle is completely built. Hoping we will receive word that it is finished in the next few days.

My '22 GLE 450 was ordered approx. Oct. '21. Came in March 18, 2022. Initially, it was produced 5 days prior to planned 3/1/22 build date. Then Mercedes delayed the GLE 450 til April but as said before arrived earlier. Went thru 3 builds as I had to change production date intially then ordered additional options.

I had a great experience with Chris O'Banion of Mercedes Houston Greenway. He is excellent to get hold of via text and any updates. There was no market adjustment on vehicle. They charged MSRP.

nolaGTS, i assume you are in New Orleans. Any word on your GLE450? Everyday my production day is changed to the current date with no end in sight. Just curious as to if you have received any updates.

My sales advisor is not getting any detail information on progress of my 450 build . Got VIN first week March, not sure when production began ?
As of now now update on location of hold? Or waiting for parts where? Etc…. Is unknown . Was originally thinking that a Sept order…could make its way thru the gauntlet of delays etc by May delivery request?…Time will tell. Don’t know if it’s the tailgate part, the lighting parts, the passenger seat controls..?… every other week there is a described part issue… ?.. disappointing content changes .. and lack of clarity on progress… ( if it was a Euro build vehicle , I’d hate to think of the additional issues) ——-Alabama still speaks English?..right?

My salesperson from MBofNO texted me Monday saying the build is complete and now we’re waiting on delivery. When my salesperson called the factory a few weeks ago, he said it would be done on Feb 28, and my salesperson told me I should expect delivery the first week of April. Well that obviously didn’t happen. Still waiting. Hopefully this coming week.
