Preset Radio Stations

Heh everybody! I’m new to the MB world and love my GLE 350. One thing I can’t figure out though - are there only 20 preset radio stations you can save or is there a way to add more? I usually save quite a few being an XM subscriber. No biggie if 20 is all I get, but thought I’d ask!

I simply do the "Hey Mercedes" tune to whatever XM station I want at the time. Never bothered with presets.

I've tried it but the assistance has a tough time understanding our "southern" accents. It either does what it pleases or asks to repeat before apologizing for not understanding. The rest of the world including Google can understand me.

I'm sorry for laughing...LOL
I am a Pittsburgh native and we have our own unique accent. Much of my family resides in the Nashville area and we have had many spirited discussions on who "talks funny". They swear they don't have an accent at all. Try telling Ms Mercedes to tune to a channel number instead of a name, see if that works.

Have you done the "voice training" on your car? It provides several phrases and number strings to learn your speech pattern. You can tie it to your profile, too.

Couldn't find it

Considering it came from you I did some extensive searching and I cannot find any where where it allows me to do the voice training. I asked her and all it did was give me the definition of voice training. Do you know how to get into that menu?

Well, I can't find it either. I get my cars confused - I thought I performed this voice training sequence on my '20 450, but maybe that's discontinued since MBUX started.
Anybody else know if the Voice Training is hidden somewhere?

It's a feature in my Lexus but I have not found it anywhere in my GLE.

Iirc, it was part of the individualization in COMAND

I don't think it's a component of MBUX.

That's the term - individualization. I was thinking it was part of setting up a profile in mbux, but I tried setting up a test profile and it wasn't there.
It did help setting up Command in previous cars.

I know that Ms. Mercedes has come to understand me better over time. Including my pronunciations and phrases. After a year I think it's still learning.

I couldn't find voice training either. MB had to reset my MBUX in December and the voice recognition went to crap after that. Prior to the reset, I had excellent voice recognition. Then last month I updated the maps/voice and I'm back to square one. It's almost impossible to change a radio station--MBUX can't usually recognize numbers.
