Active Lane Change Assist problem
My Active Lane Change Assist recently started turning itself off. Here is what happens
I turn it on and it works perfectly for days or weeks, and then I go to use it and it has been shut off. No error message, and no one else drives my GLE450, and I always use the same key. I don't see anyway that I could be accidently turning it off (only way to access is through the Vehicle menu). Any thoughts or suggestions before I head over to the dealer??

Happens to me all the time in a '21 GLE350. I've chalked it up to wonky MB electronics that do not hold settings. I love the car, the design of the car, the comfort and the ride. I hate the electronics. Would I buy another MB? Absolutely. BMW would present other problems, I'm sure. The Audi dealers around here a pretty poor and I don't care for the design as much. So I'll put up with buggy software.

I have a similar concern when I have the center gauge panel set to the radio or actually radio presets. There is no pattern as to when I set it to presets and when it arbitrarily changes to radio. It could be 4 starts later or the next start whether it's the same day or not

I have noticed this happens to my GLS as well. I cannot remember exactly, but it seems to disable if I interrupt the lane changing process manually. I thought this was a safety feature and kinda gave up on using this.

Same exact thing happens to me with my '22 E450 Sedan, any new info on this? As @tommyr mentioned, it could be days or a week and it's been to the dealer for updates and they have no clue. I just recently reached out to corporate because one of the techs at mb of princeton, nj mentioned it might be an auto off feature if the system deems aggressive drive has taken place during the current drive. I mean I do get the red triangle here and there from my driving habits...

I replaced my 2020 GLE450 with a 2025 GLE53 and it’s not an issue with the new vehicle (I believe it’s an entirely new mbux version).
i also used to have a similar issue with the outside mirrors igniting the fold in when locked setting after using the car wash mode. That’s fixed as well
