"Vehicle unlocked" notification

"Vehicle unlocked" notification
Every time we park or car in the garage we get a "vehicle unlocked" notification a couple minutes later, which become annoying after a while. And, no, I don't want to have to lock it in the garage. It appears in the app you can only turn of all notifications, which I am reluctant to do because I don't know what else I'd be missing.

No, you cannot turn off specific notifications. The previous app allowed turning on/off specific groups of notifications, but I guess nobody used that capability. I kinda like getting the notification. It let's me know that it is actually working, so if I do happen to forget to lock the car when out and about I have some confidence that I get the notification. When parking at home, I just dismiss it. Doesn't really bother me. I get several notifications from my smart home whenever I come home or leave to confirm that the garage door is closed, doors are locked and the alarm is set, so this is just one more notification letting me know that everything is as expected with the car.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I do like the other notification though, for example we parked right by the railroad the other day and the car thought it was being bumped by someone when the train passed through, so it notified that "an accident have occurred" LOL! I had a clear sight of the car and for sure there was no one at the time of the notification.
Also the day when it didn't give us the notification, it turned out the app had logged out by itself.
I gave up on giving feedback on the App Store as it goes unnoticed for a couple of years.

At least on the phone you have the option to lock it. I also get a notification on my apple watch but no functionality. It would be nice to set up notifications to behave differently in a geofence area around your house.

This is a bit of a workaround, but if you have an iPhone you could use iOS's features. Create a custom Focus mode (name it something like "At home") in which notifications from the Mercedes app are muted and everything else is the same as always. Set the Focus to turn on automatically when you get home, and turn off when you leave home. That way when you're home you get no notifications from the Mercedes app, but when you're out you do get notifications.
