New Member : Help needed GLE 450 2022
Hello experts of MBworld family!
I just got a 2022 GLE 450 4 Matic
I really wanted and requested ALMG line exterior package upon ordering this vehicle but it came with ALMG line interior only instead. Since there were hardly any inventory and I had to wait such a long time for a new car, I just accepted the vehicle but this standard front grille bothers me so much
I called the dealer parts dept to have at least ALMG style front grille ordered so I can upgrade in local body shop, but as you all may know modification was not allowed on my vehicle was what they replied.
I really want to change to the vertical style Panamericana Grille upgrade but can't figure out if those online or which one from Mercedes genuine parts can fit into my vehicle not having the front body as AMG exterior.
Anyone with similar experience? Please help if you know a source on what to order to change my front Grille so I can take it to the body shop with right specs.
My vehicle is equipped with
DA2 Driver assistance package plus
DC8 Airmatic suspension package
DG2 AMG Line interior
DP1 Premium package
This person I found on different post seems to find the right grille for an upgrade but not sure if he already had a AMG exterior package:

2021 AMG GLE53 | 2013 SLK350 Sport
If you have the standard grill, it will not fit since the front bumper cover which wraps around the grill has a slight different shape for it. You will need to replace the bumper cover and mover the parking sensors as well.
Please check pictures online of both so that you can see the difference.
