Antifreeze smell
Can smell antifreeze when I pull my car in the garage when I’ve been on a run, dealership done a pressure test, didn’t find any leaks, and it isn’t loosing any coolant, anyone got or had the same issue. A friend of mine has the same car as me gle350d coupe, he says it’s nothing to worry about,

Had the B Service last week and reported coolant loss (500ml}. System was intact.
What I DID find after my coolant smell, was that it's easy to not tighten the reservoir cap sufficiently.
IMO the detent that indicates "tight" is too stiff. It feels tight but it's not, without a bigger twist. Check yours if you smell coolant.
BTW sweating is not leaking, and with the 3L six the pump is internal, 48v driven.

I’ve noticed too, how you fail to make these asinine comments on the Porsche Forum where there are lots of opportunities on issues being reported. IMO, you do a disservice to innocent newcomers looking for answers.

I notice coolant smell as well after shutdown and I have the cap shut tight. I had to top off on some coolant at the dealership. There are a lot of plastic components in the coolant system, so who knows. I would just let it run down until the coolant light goes off and take it the dealership. They’ll top you off the first time and send you on your way but if it happens again go back and demand they inspect for leaks and pressure test.
