Had to correct the post. There have been some things you hate that people have tried to explain to you is normal, but your car definitely does seem to have some other issues.
Anyway, point is you get mad that people use their good GLEs as proof that not all GLEs are broken, when you're doing the exact same thing. You're trying to use your bad GLE as proof that all GLEs are broken.

I didn't say you're venting at or against anyone in particular... I really have no idea what the purpose of these posts are anymore.
You say all GLEs have a bad X by design. Other people go X on my GLE has been fine. You say no, its a design issue.
I hope I don't regret my GLE as much as you do when I get it, but hell if I do then I'll just take the 20-30k hit or whatever to trade it for another car.

Three things I like about my 2020 GLE 350 AWD
1. I like the HUD
2. I love the multi-contour seats, with rapid heating (which includes the arm rests) and massage ...awesome on long road trips
3. I like the way it handles and drives for a large SUV. I like the way the 9 speed shifts, like it better than the ZF 9H9 9-speed in my 2022 Honda Pilot...which is my commuter car. Surprisingly, I like it best in economy mode...which I didn't expect. Gas mileage on the hwy is great, 26 MPG on average
Three things I dislike about my 2020 GLE 350 AWD (minor annoyances)
1. When I remote start it via the app, I too don't like how the engine shuts off when I open the door. Wish it would start a 3 minute timer when you open a door instead before it shuts off.
2. I don't like the fact that I have the same size tires on all four corners, but different wheel offsets on the front and rear rims so I can't rotate the tires front to rear without dismounting the tires...so I don't.
3. I wish Mercedes offered the 48V system on the GLE 350...would be a perfect combination.
Overall, the likes far outweigh the dislikes. I plan to keep it for as long as it remains reliable.

Ok, so you think your GLE is a POS. Your entitled to do so. I believe mine is not. Did i have issues that have been taken care of under warranty - YES. So either get it fixed and move on, or get rid of it. I, for one, was very sympathetic to your case, in the beginning, and even tried to assist with your active steering issues. However, after endlessly reading about your POS, I just want to smash my PC to pieces. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
It seams as if you no longer have any interest in contributing anything positive to this forum and are simply hellbent on bashing MB. This is a forum for adults to discuss their vehicles; good or bad, and possibly get resolutions to issues. NOBODY, IMO, cares to listen to constant bashing from ONE person all day long. Furthermore, if the GLE is truly as POS, as you call it, then why did you purchase one in the first place. Perhaps, next time you should do your homework first. I, as I am sure others on here, am tired of the same statements day after day. It's like having to see BenzNinja posting everyday with multiple new posts - its annoying, not helpful.

Yeah I tried that. I ended up turning it off per her request. I don't blame her. Sometimes when turning (left), it just went off. Very bizarre. I never experienced this in any other cars.
This happens to my S Class too, so weird! Never had a car that has so many false alarms. I suppose its a Mercedes thing.

This is out of line. You can't be angry when others say you cant be unhappy because they are happy and then also tell someone they can't be happy because you are unhappy...its a two way street. He repeatedly tried to be respectful of your issue, but he has a right to say he in fact is happy with the transmission...

I was asking for the things that make GLE the GLE, aka, features not found in similar car/class. But I guess when you love something too much, everything is a plus. Like my X5, as a package, I can not complain, but compared to GLE, I can see two big "negativities": spaciousness and a rougher ride.

Workin' on it, but despite any drawbacks, I still smile when I see the car.
Do I wish the base Burmester sounded good? Yes I do.
Do I wish I could pass that S2000 on the track? Yes I do. Neither of us leave the other behind. He can't pass me either. The WRX's eat my dust. And the 944's.

Thats normal, its because the "woofers" are up under the dash as opposed to being in the back like they are in most cars. The basic Burmester in the W222 S Class is lackluster too, I and many others have added a sub in the trunk which helps a lot. Harder to do in the GLE because its always hanging out there in the rear cargo area, but it would improve it a lot.
Wife called saying she had low pressure message. Da@@ only 7k on the clock. Looked it up to see where has one in stock. Some do but they’re all for customers. Ready for repair and order a new one. The tech checked out and said, “I can order you one but you are totally fine with the repair.” So I went with it. They took it off, repaired, re-balanced. What do you guys think about this? Safe for long distance? He said I would be fine. Would you replace?
On the way home I realized how luxurious this thing is (I only drive once in awhile and have not driven for two months). Such a fine vehicle. I just drove below speed limit and enjoyed the Christmas music. Tried to find a reason to drive longer. Filled her up even with 3/4 full. Merry Christmas folks!

Thanks! Good to know. It must be on the same surface. That’s interesting because my X5 woofer is under my seat and I cranked it up a lot more but never felt any vibration below.
