Assuming all works as designed, name 3 things you like/dis-like most about this car
On the way home I realized how luxurious this thing is (I only drive once in awhile and have not driven for two months). Such a fine vehicle. I just drove below speed limit and enjoyed the Christmas music. Tried to find a reason to drive longer. Filled her up even with 3/4 full.
Merry Christmas folks!
You're fine, the location of the nail is center tread. Mine came with Run Flat Tires, and I got a nail in the same location (Rt Rr Tire) at about the same mileage. Had it plugged and put 30K miles on that tire with no issues.

Tiny holes might not need the plug, since it's a tradeoff by reaming the hole to enlarge it, to accept the plug.
A good tire person will know the best way. Unfortunately there aren't many left these days.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
it for only $15.
The only thing I was not happy about was they did not trim the plug and there is a lot of excess "plug" on the tire. I know they say it will wear down as it's driven on, but usually I always cut it so there's
a good amount left for the area and it can blend properly with the tire. So far it has held for the past month or two.

I had one of my tires fixed with a plug before, after watching the guy do it and discovering it was so easy, I've done a few more similar repairs myself. They've all held (also none were near a sidewall).

They'll scan your tread depth too, and report the lowest - with a fancy scan tool they carry out while they log you in and read the VIN & mileage.
But beware, DT is very strict on damage beyond the belts. Corporate Policy. You might have to buy a tire to leave.
Their Free Balance gives them an opportunity to establish a relationship with owners. It's an effective strategy. Most of their stores are well run, which is handy on cross country trips.
They've had some staff shortages the past year, like everywhere, so I pay more attention when my car's in the bay. Like everywhere.

It's a '21 AMG GLE53, Dynamic Plus Package w/ ARC 48v active suspension. 21,000 miles. 21" tires.
3 likes, plus a Bonus:
+Meets my #1 requirement for any auto: Responsive. Step on the gas it goes, turn the wheel it turns, and step on the brakes it stops, with minimal wasted motion.
+Versatile and fun. Forest Service trails, sanctioned road courses, effortless comfortable and economical high-speed touring. Large capacity but drives like a smaller car.
+Nice looks for an SUV, retaining physical switches for many functions, plus choice of input methods for Infotainment. ARC Suspension Makes The Car.
+Bonus Like- Surprisingly, I like and selectively use Nannies for long distance driving - Active Lane Keeping, Active Steering, Lane Change, and Stop and Go Assists. I've come to trust them.
3 Dislikes plus a Bonus:
-Base Burmester is disappointing - an insult to the car.
-Front storage gets smaller every generation. Hard, unpadded plastic door pockets. USB and 12v outlets inadequate.
-Limited tire selection in 21" & 22" sizes. Need more front tire grip.
-Bonus Dislike- Miss the cornering lights. Slow self parking (but I see that RJ Automotive ID'd Slow Parking as a Euro law that they can un-code). Massage seats need to be restarted too often.
I like the car, but I wish I hadn't omitted the 3D Burmester.
Instead I have to push the seat memory button for my new GLE. Then when I get in I push my name in the console and it proceeds to adjust to my wife's settings like a car from 1998.
What a ****ing joke for a six figure car and a Mercedes after all.
