No 3D Burmester. The 3D Burmester was the one standout option that I actually really enjoyed. I would normally never spend that much on a stereo but this splurge was like a bucket list item for me and in hindsight I’m glad I splurged.
Also, the HUD is buried within the most expensive package, which is lame. My S class doesn’t have a basic HUD, with it coming only as an option. To me, HUDs are like air conditioning, a necessity that should be standard, especially considering it is standard in some lesser brands and models. They should offer a basic HUD as standard and the augmented reality HUD as an option or in a package.

Wow leather prices went down. Any idea about the base price of a GLE 53? Looks like they included a bunch of things
that used to options, like panoramic roof, augmented navigation and heated/vented front seats.

Looks like the dynamic plus package is no longer an option on the GLE53 meaning no more AMG Active Ride Control on a 6 cylinder. Huge bummer.

Ordered 2024 GLE53. Production scheduled for last decade of May with delivery end of June or early July. Not much choice in colours because so many are on hold. Ordered high tech silver with red pepper and black nappa leather interior. There will be little change with 2021 I am trading in. Trade has 26,300 KMS or 16,300 miles. Both vehicles are fully equipped. I was hoping for gen 3 MBUX like the new 24 E-Class but it will be a slight upgrade to Gen 2 MBUX.

No price yet. I have dealt with this dealership for 25 years and discount is on a formula we have used for many years based on MSRP less percentage.

I get it. I was on a buying kick yearly for a long while. Now I'm up to a few years but may look into leasing in the future to 'upgrade' more often.
