coolean tempature gauge

Is there any way that I could change this part to coolant temperature gauge?

Would be nice to change it to something else but no.

Yeah, that is pretty useless information. When I was driving in the Arizona desert last month at 117 degrees, the coolant temp would have been much more valuable information.

No, but it should be there, or in the engine info section.

I guess modern cars just tell you with a warning if your engine is too hot so they got rid of it completely, probably still shows in the service menu though.

I use the right hand section in the driver's cluster, under the NAV selection, selected via the Home button on the left steering wheel spoke.

It's a tire pressure screen, with engine coolant and tranny fluid displays.
The temps change color as the engine achieves operating temp, and probably change again in an overheat situation.

In my pics here, I haven't driven to get a tire pressure reading yet.
The last pic is with the engine off, showing the display format, but no numbers.

I think that is only available in the AMG menu options. Don't see it on my 21 450 menu.

You're probably right.
I wonder if it's hidden under another icon. Can you pull up a continuous display of tire pressures - that might also show coolant temps?

I agree that it's good information to see

I think the tire pressure is only on the service menu. The coolant temp is on the engine info screen however. Of course, one can always ask RJ automotive to flash the AMG menu options.

By all means, get the lighting update while you're at it.👍
Add the AMG menus as an add-on.

Does other displays styles other than classic you have on, like sport, understated, progressive, etc. show it stock instead of having to program it in? or still the same EQ with Power and Charge screen?

The engine data screen in the infotainment show the coolant temperature at all?

The power and charge is always on as far si know. Then again, I only use the sport display. The coolant temp is on the engine info screen.

I think that display is the engine oil temperature and transmission oil temperature. Not the coolant temperature. Had a 450 GLE and on the engine status display it had those plus the battery voltage. On our 63S the engine dispay is not the same as it does not have the battery voltage displayed. Both 2021 models.

I guess to MB, they think that the coolant usually stays constant (pretty much) once at operating temperature, they don't need to have that information available to the driver. While the engine oil temperature varies, especially on amg vehicles that gets pushed a lot. Regular MB models and customers/drivers perhaps also don't need that information. Just a guess, really.

You are correct, my mistake.

It's oil temp and gearbox temp in those displays I posted.
