Rattling noise driver side door - 2023 GLE350
Last fix was apparently something loose on the passenger side, where the noise was "traveling" to the drivers side... not sure I believe that BS. Before that they thought the window wasnt sealing properly because of dirt... meaning it was closing completely and resulting in the rattle.
I'm convinced its related to the black plastic trim on the outside of the door/window starting to separate from the top of the door.
If you can consistently replicate the issue, do a test drive with the tech and show them, it should help them with diagnostic. (In my case, they can hear it right away)
1. Try with a different dealer and get second opinion. if that does not work
2. Trigger Lemon law
3. Trigger Trade in Assist
4. Goodwill buy(Not sure what this means)
All these drove me nuts and they don't want to escalate to their right engineering department to identify and fix it.

The handle is ‘plastic welded/riveted’ and I noticed one of the rivets was loose so I added some JB Plastic Weld to better secure it.
The door panel grommets were missing a couple of the bushings so I added some felt.
Lastly, and I haven’t done this yet, there is an odd shaped clip at the rear top of the door panel that helps secure the panel to the door frame that needs to be replaced. It is loose and I believe this is the primary culprit. It’s a white/yellow rectangular shaped piece near the lock pin. Haven’t found the part number yet but haven’t made a huge effort to locate it either.
Discovered the rattle was coming form the actual rear hatch lock, caused by the hatch not closing very tight.
On the sides of the hatch when opened there are two 30 Torx screws which we used to adjust the two rubber feet by pulling them out a little. That automatically created a bit of tension on the rear hatch when it's closed and NO MORE rattle!
I almost fell asleep driving home that day from the my cabin finally being quiet, and now has been 4 days and still no noise anymore.

If so, a cold car is likely to show more rattles. It sounds like a good strategy.

Using the window switch, open it all the way, pause, re-push the switch and hold for 5 seconds.
Then close it all the way, release, pull and hold for 5 seconds.
It works on Windows and sunroofs.
