DIAMOND WHITE OR POLAR WHITE 2024 GLE63 COUPE NIGHT PACKAGE?
I have had a 2019 and now 2021 GLE 63 in Obsidian black with black interior. Looking for a change and am thinking white with night package on the 2024 GLE 63 COUPE. Anyone have pics or advice? Going crazy and can’t decide!

I inherited a BMW X5 in a metallic white color close to Diamond White. It had been resprayed due to damage to a passenger door. It is very difficult to match a color like that due to the texture of the metallic particles in the paint. The respray is quite obvious at times. My new GLE450 has the Polar White. I prefer the non-metallic white to the diamond version.

I had a GLE53 on order before purchasing my current 63. I went through the same struggle and after visiting numerous dealers and comparing polar and diamond side by side, diamond was the clear choice for me. It just has a very classy look that works on this car. Polar white looks very basic and is a much more common colour.

Not a huge fan of the "pearl" whites, and it has been noted they are difficult to match if damaged. Polar is basic, but very clean and pristine. Personally, I would choose the red & black upholstery to spice it up a bit.

I had polar on my G550 and thought it had more depth than most whites which tend to look like appliance paint. I’ve seen the diamond in person and it was nice but not for me. Good luck.

I agree that metallic paints are difficult to shoot, but there are painters out there that have mastered that. They're just hard to find.
OTOH, "plain" black and white are the hardest colors to match, even with formulas, especially if there has been fading over time.
Resprays of any color can usually be detected pretty easily.
To me, my enjoyment of the color is more important than hoping my great painter is still in business when I need him.
But it is a consideration.

That’s what two MB dealers in VA told me — wife has to have a metallic (she’s not happy, I’m not happy); so ordered BMW X5 50e in Mineral White Metallic instead.

Too bad you can’t order Diamond White anymore…it is being replaced with Moonlight White. If you can’t find a Diamond White on a dealer lot, you’re going to have to wait until April…so you have plenty of time to think it over. If you want to order a GLE now…no decision to make…Polar White is currently the only white paint option until April.

And great choice on the BMW Mineral White. That color is chef’s kiss!

Ditto on polar white being better choice.
NI the end they both look the same from a distance.
plus you save a few $$ on price.
The pearl is nice but just not that nice for the price -
If was to pay for a color it would be something more dramatic than some fancy white.

If they were the same price I would definitely go metallic, however, they are not. I went with polar white and the light interior and have no regrets.

Well after going to the dealership to order GLE 63 COUPE it looks like you can’t order diamond white. Moonlight White metallic is what I chose with night package. It won’t be built until April. Hopefully the color is great!
