That's exactly what I had in the 450. That interior fit that car, it's classy and conservative. If you want to go with a more sporty look, carbon fibre is a good option.

Yes. Both 450 and new 63 have the Obsidian black exterior. I put a chromed black bumper sill on both and it's offered some great protection. It's taken a few hits that would have definitely left a mark in an unprotected bumper.

I've been looking for a chromed black sill. Can you please provide a link to where I can buy one? No issues with the black scratching off after time and use?

I had this one on my 450 for over three years and it still looked perfect when I traded her in. I installed it again on my 63 last October. Looks good and offers great protection.

I saw that one but wasn't sure how well it would hold up. Thanks for the link and letting me know your experience!

Chrome Trim

Is the chrome trim look on the GLE outdated? I heard the chrome is plastic. Specifically, black on black with chrome exterior trims. I am wonder if a 2024 GLE 450 will look old in a year or two.

It is a matter of preference in my opinion I would get the Night Package it makes the truck look sporty and modern. The Chrome look is more of a luxury classic look. Go look in person and compare.

Definitely get night package. Much sportier than chrome.

Has anyone seen a black interior with the Topstitched Dashboard Trim? Is the stitching white? I am wondering if there is a contrast. The code is U09

Our 63 does not show that code but it sure looks topstitched like that picture but the threads are black. We have the exclusive nappa leather and the dash is covered in the smooth nappa leather as well. Not pebbled as in that picture. It is also the night package so I do not know if that makes a difference? The picture is deceiving as it looks lighter I assume by the reflectivity of the threading

The U09 is Mb-Tex.
