I have suddenly started hearing this weird noise from brake pedal which is heard in cabin when depressing the brake pedal. Car is under warranty. Any idea whats wrong , if you have come across this. Temperature is between 24-40F mostly.
I have the same exact issue you describe. Mine is a 2021 GLE 350 with 42k miles. I had it at the dealer for recall work and mentioned the pedal, dealer was able to replicate issue but didn’t recommend parts replacement as apparently there is a “design flaw” and new parts will eventually act up. See attached service writeup. I was told that eventually there will be a recall - who knows. In researching the forums it seems to be an issue with the brake booster assembly itself, and in some instances the master cylinder too. I’d be curious to know what your dealer says (or if anyone else in the forum is experiencing this). It seems to be getting worse…I’d describe it as a creaky feeling in the pedal.
Thanks for sharing this. It is strange that dealership is saying it is inherent in the brake pedal assembly for a car worth more than 60k. I will take it in next two weeks . Will advise on what they say to me.
Mine started to make the noise about 2 years ago, dealer replaced the brake booster which temporarily fixed the issue. About a month ago, it returns, and I haven't get a chance to bring it to dealer for it.
My issue was fixed. The service center replaced the brake Booster and the Master cylinder. Just replacing the brake booster did not solve the issue earlier.I hope the issue is now fixed permanently.
I had a similar issue with the gas pedal. Strange squeaking nose, when it was lightly pressed. It got replaced, noise stopped. I am guessing in my case the service did not want to take any chances...

Just got the master cylinder replaced this time. The foreman have another person listen to where the noise is from from under the hood and found the noise to be from the master cylinder, got it replaced and no noise so far.
Hopefully it stays that way.
