2023 GLE 450
My 2023 450 has been in the dealership for 4 days.

The ticking noise comes from the cup holder area. It doesn’t always occur but usually happens on cold mornings.

I think there is a cooling fan in there. Could be that.

Wow that is so loud, I initially thought it was the wastegate sound but when I heard the video, it isn't. I have no idea what that is. Certainly sound like amplified cards on bicycle wheel sound.

I think there is some ventilation for the charging pad. It sounds like a fan blade hitting something. Maybe the cold weather causes a part to shrink and come in contact with a fan blade?

Maybe lift up the rubber pad for the wireless charger and blow out the vent with a can of air or compressed air.

That sounds like some kind of a small fan spinning, but somehow has something obstructing the blades/fins of the fan.

Hope they have experts who can diagnose the problem from the video you captured, without opening up the whole area.

Update: The noise was caused by the wireless charger fan.
The dealership replaced the wireless charger module .
