I have a brand new 2025 GLE and the latest version it has is NTG7_E505 and no routines option which is a shame. Not sure if I can get NTG8?

No way to upgrade. NTG 8 has that verticle center display, so S-, E-, and C-class. I bet v168 will get it. Originally Posted by Stuart Morley

Only the 2025 GLC, 2025 C, 2024-25 CLE, 2024-25 E has it so far. I don't think MB will upgrade NTG 7 to NTG 8, just how they didn't update NTG 6 to NTG 7, you need to buy a new model year vehicle unfortunately, hope I am wrong. Originally Posted by Stuart Morley

If this makes you feel better, forum members on the W214 E sub-forums didn't find Routines a big deal: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...-routines.html
Hello,
Where can I find the information about latest versions of MBUX software? My 2023 GLE does have RL_NTG7_E505.404_24441AC3.
Is it a latest one (for today)? Another question is if there a some kind of changes log (new features descriptions? improvements, etc)
Many thanks for sharing any information related

Our dealer updated the software upon my request a couple of months ago. They (definitely) would not inform me about any future updates or something else. That's why I asked for the some kind of repository or changes log
Thank you!

All manufacturers are like that. Be thankful you get even bug fixes.Originally Posted by Lucky 777

I have a 2016 Audi S6 which was touted as having a brand new infotainment system which was field upgradable to include new features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Those were explicitly mentioned in the press release. The features weren't available at launch but based on that press release it was assumed they'd come through an update. 10 years later, officially, there are ZERO updates for the version that originally shipped on my car.
The 2017 models all shipped with CarPlay and Android Auto and both the dealers and Audi corporate SWORE that the hardware was different and that my car actually couldn't do it. Took 30 minutes for an Eastern European gentleman to remotely flash the newer firmware on my car and boom, CarPlay mysteriously works on hardware that allegedly isn't capable of running it...

It takes them time to install an update I guess they need a good reason to update the software of the vehicle, like for example a buggy carplay interface and maybe the new software can fix it. They can then use that to get MBUSA to pay them back for the work.Originally Posted by mamed69
