Considering a 2026 GLE 450 but was wondering what changes might be in place for the 2027 car. I found some spy photos with new headlights and taillights that incorporate the Mercedes star. Sales manager told me that the 2028 will be "new" and that appears to follow MB's seven year runs before body design changes
I've always go the first of the new models every 7 years. My current is a 2020 that I got in April 2019, so it the historic schedule was followed the next would be a 2027 coming out in 2026. I'll be ready for a new one, but will pass if no significant changes.

Now, why on earth would MB discontinue the GLE? This is one of MBs top-selling SUVs. That person is definitely being aggressive.

Lots of spy shots of the 2027 SUV and coupe at the link below. Looks new headlights and taillights. Dash looks a little different too, It seems the large integrated screens have been separated and a new air vent design.
2027 would normally be a new model on MB's typical 7-year cycle. I was hoping to replace my 2020 450 (57k mi.) this year and want more than a facelift. I know the stalling of electrification is throwing a wrinkle in things. A quandary.

Ya it seems so, when it comes to Germans, the Macan was facelifted twice so it is not unheard of in the industry.

@switte I have heard that they are discontinuing the "coupe" version of the GLE, but not the SUV. Maybe that's what the sales manager was referring to... 🤷♀️
Makes sense to discontinue the coupe. Also makes sense the guy at the dealer is too stupid to realize it makes no sense that MB would discontinue the GLE which is one of their core and most successful products

The coupe is not going anywhere (at least for 2027). Lots of spy photos with redesigned lights.
