A lot of tiny metal in oil filter.l

That said, in our kids C300 he had it three oil changes ago. We put in LiquidMoly 5-40 at that oil change. The next change...no glitter. Odd at best. I am not sure when that car is due again but need to look hard at that oil change.
For all my cars and for years I have always cut the filter ends off, lay the media flat and check it in the sun for glitter of doom. If it is....trade in? Let it become a new owners issue (last time I sold car like that I wrote under the hood in Sharpie "shavings in oil" - that was on a 3000GT VR4, that I had traded in for my 911 Turbo S. I felt that for me that was at least notice for a potential new buyer to be aware.

Do any of the fixture parts look damaged? Those are some large pieces.
