2022 GLE 350 R20 tire replacement
1) with 45,000 mileage and Traction rating B
2) with 55,000 mileage and Traction rating A ($20 more than the previous one).
Any recommendation for Minneapolis and Illinois weather ? I prefer smooth and quiet ride comfort. Currently i have Cooper Defender SRX factory installed and gave 24,000 miles only.

I am replacing the Michelins with the Pirelli Scorpion Zero A/S 113V tires next week. The Michelin Primacy were the first Michelins I ever had that I was less than happy with.

or the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady2

Either will give excellent snow traction, while not wearing rapidly when temps climb above 50. They are "All Weather" tires, compared to "All Season," which many think are "No Season."
I just bought a set of Vredestein Wintrac Pro+ (the "+" is a new version this year) and I'm pleased that they don't feel like mush, as have many winters.

For the absolute best non-studded winter tire, the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV is the one (super good on ice), but it needs to come off during the summer if you want to prolong their life.

In any case, make sure they are load rated XL.
I'm waiting for the Michelin CrossClimate3s (3s), the newest model that isn't being imported into the US - yet.

So far the ride quality is very smooth and quiet (than the originals that came from factory. Will check on the wet grip traction...
