New Owner!! question about Sport+
Hey guys, Just got my beautiful GLE450 about 2 weeks ago, It was a demo car with about 3K miles on it, I managed to get a GREAT deal on the car. Im so excited to be a part of this family and I truly love the Car! I just have a question about Sport+ mode. The car jerks when downshifting from 2nd to 1st gear... is that normal? do you guys experience the same thing? Your input would be greatly appreciated!!

That makes sense.. but the jerkiness scared me kinda. Also, do you think its bad for the car If I were to constantly drive it on sport+? or is that mode only made to be driven on a few occasions?

Won't hurt anything but your fuel mileage. It's still all controlled by the computers, so if temperatures get out of hand or too much abuse happens it will back down accordingly.
There's really no reason for sport plus though with 'normal' driving, regular sport mode is usually plenty for it not to feel so sluggish as it does in C or E mode. Doesn't seem to bring as harsh feeling shifts either.
