I went out to the garage to make sure I knew how to listen to my old iPod in my new GLE 43 Coupe.I put the ignition on accessory,got out of the car to flip the garage light on.................

..........and happened to look down at the floor.I see for the first time the cool one foot diameter Mercedes symbol shining down from the light projected from the bottom of each side mirror.

The puddle lights can be turned on or off as well, but I do like them and people comment on them often.

meh, the puddle lights and illuminated grill star are two things i think detracts from the essence of mercedes.

I don't think that I disagree that they are cheesy, but they are easy to turn off if you don't want them.

We do NOT have the illuminated star, so we don't have to turn that off...

You complainers make me laugh. The Puddle Lights are... Neat, sharp, work as intended & the Grands love them. I would have the Frt. Star, but we have Distronics. Just turn them off and go on your way
