Cup holder issue
This is fairly trivial but hate the way this looks. Makes it look cheap when you have passengers. Any way to fix the flaps that hold beverages in? The one stays flipped up after pulling a drink out.

It's not supposed to be that way. That's a warranty issue. Take it in for service.

Correct - it's broken - happens sometimes when too-large-of-cup gets jammed in their - new car warranty replacement no charge - it is also switch for that side heated/cooled cupholder

I did also notice that my cigarette lighter didn't work either but in that case it was a fuse in the fuse compartment under the back seat.

I just purchased a preowned GLE350 that the cupholder looks identical to the one above and the heated/cooled cupholder button does not come on or work. I checked the fuse and it showed good but the one tab on the larger cup is flipped upward as in the photo. From your answer you indicate that the tab also is connected to the switch function for the cupholder, is that right? The vehicle is out of warranty and I'm wondering is this a user possible repair or one that the dealer has to make? Also do you know if it happens a lot?
