Hi guys. Have a 2017 GLE 400 with 26,000 kms. It has the OEM Continental Cross Contact LX Sport tires. They are worn and would like someting new. Saw on tirerack.com only 1 Michelin model, the Crossclimate SUV, that is good for snow, which I do not need. We live in non snow area. Also some Pirelli Scorpio Verde with not so good reviews. What are your guys installing for summer or All Season?
I bought some Pirelli Scorpio Verde to replacing my Continental OEMs 8 months ago to at about 45,000 km. Actually great summer tires (quiet, good handling, good in rain, etc) but with huge early snowstorm last week found out they are terrible in snow and slush. Putting on my winter wheels with Blizzak DM-V2 tires next Friday and would not buy the Pirellis if using year round in a snowy area.
I will likely give the OEM Conti Cross Contact LX Sports another try when I replace tires soon. I have 28k miles now, the tires will probably go to 35k miles, but it will be a stretch.
Has anyone used Goodyear Eagle LS2s on a GLE? I ran those tires on a VW Touareg and got up to 60k miles with the Eagles. Great tire.
What about the Conti Cross Contact LX25? Those appear to have a significantly higher treadwear rating, which is a priority for me.

Reviving an old thread for new comers! Swapped out my 21" OEM wheels that had Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Seasons for 20" wheels with Conti Crosscontact LX25's All Seasons. Night and day difference in ride quality as you would expect. My GLE43 in comfort mode is now about as comfy as my old 18' S560 in sport mode, just a little bounce from the suspension to eat up road imperfections and almost complete silence on the interior (unless I'm accelerating aggressively).
This thing continues to amaze me, my only complaint at this point is the seats could be better. I can't seem to get them perfect like my past W212 E350 or S. They're just not long enough for me and I'm only 5' 10"...
