GLE 350 Floor Mat

I just received the mat for GLE 350 from eBay. Looks and good material. Next is to get a clear ( transparent mat ) to cover those.

This actually looks great in the pictures. Regarding the PU leather material itself, is it slippery especially when shoes are wet and does it have any smell?

Thanks! actually, I was thinking it looks better in real life than in pic Material is nonslip and soft. I don't recommend for vehicles in the eastern states and where there is snow as it will definitely ruin it after few months. It is more like a cosmetic look. I am planning to put clear (see-through) matt on the top. I used both in my honda and no issue for 6 years ( sold ). I live in Arizona so no issue with mud or snow and rarely mats get dirty.

I've had them for a very long time in a few different vehicles. The heel pad will break apart so you will eventually need to replace. There are some nice stainless ones on ebay you can use as a replacement. Other than the heel pad, they have held up and offer the best coverage of any mat. The Maxpider3d look the most OEM and have excellent coverage.

Just received mine. Order to delivery was just under three weeks. I ordered from a different seller, but am sure they all sell identical items. Because of how these "floor mats" are shipped (many folds), once opened there are number of creases. I left floor mats under the sun, will see if it helps. Initial impression is very good. Will post pictures once installed. Am ordering more for other vehicles. (Will not use any "clear mats" on top. Once they wear out, will replace with same items).

Creases are still present even after an hour under the sun. Will see if they will relax more with time. Over all am very pleased with these "floor mats".

Here are clear matt just to protect from scratching from shoe sole, note they are not liners.

I paid for mine a month ago and 12 days ago the tracking shows "arrived at destination" what I assume is US customs.
I order quite a lot from China and I used to live 25 miles from US customs in San Francisco area.
Typical small package would made it from China to San Francisco in 3-4 days and than took 10-14 days to make last 25 miles.
This is bigger package, so looks like different rules.

The hard/pointy plastic backing of the clear mats will probably do more harm than good. I've been running a similar mat in my old GL450 for over 5 years and they are holding up just fine with no covering. The only area that falls apart is the plastic heel pad which was replaced with a stainless model from Ebay.

Agree with you on clear "option". Ordering a second set (there are several different appealing patterns, all between $110-120) is what I'll do.

A different option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/174824686554?var=474005557557

The price point is ridiculously cheap. The look/quality absolutely worth the price (and then some), IMO.

I got it from Amazon. they are thin, enough to protect. I do not want heavy ones otherwise it will not look good but you can search Amazon they might have thick ones too

Ignore my comments I do not know how to delete this post. Below comments are for the clear matt:

The ones which I bought from Amazon have soft spikes, that's why I went for thin ones. But I do not know the long-term effect. Let's see. For now, I checked no damage to the liner. I have been using it for more than a week now. ALso, I keep on checking if any minor damage then I will remove it before it causes more damage.

^^^Thanks.

I am using OEM rubber rear mats on "heavy traffic area" upfront for now.

Ordered second different pattern set. Look, quality for the price blows my mind away. Honestly, these Chinese "mats" would not look out of place in a Bentley.

Yes I saw those. IMO it kills the whole look. That is why I completely removed the cheap "heel plate" these floor mats were already pre-installed with (yes, six small holes were left in the driver's mat). Usually one gets what one pays for, but IMHO these "floor mats" are terrific looking and feeling and would pay well more for them. When I ordered these floor mats for other cars, I asked for the heel pad not to be installed, we'll see if they will.

One think to keep in mind is that the mats come with only 6 plastic clips, but in order to custom lay all three mats and minimize their movement, many, many more are needed. I ordered several sets of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223652954988

My mocha mats arrived after 1 month and 1 day shipping time.
Great addition.
