New guy with an '18 GLE 350 4matic saying hello....

Hi all, just bought this certified 2018 GLE 350 4matic with 25,000 miles, then joined this forum and wanted to say hello. The more I drive it the more I love it, the only thing I will do to it is replace the new Dunlops with Nokians WR G4 SUV's due to the sometimes unpredictable New England winters. It's black on black with black anthracite and a black headliner, It came with a premium package, not sue which, Harman Kardon Logic 7 audio with either 830 watts or 450 watts, and either 12 or 14 speakers, lol. It has park assist, puddle lights and chrome hood vents, also came with factory Mercedes crossbars. Super happy so far, with the exception of the headlights, wish the were a bit brighter. A bit of a learning curve ahead but not to bad. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can go on line to a few websites and get your complete build sheet... also ask your selling dealer for the VMI Printout

I had an '18 GLE350 and had zero problems. I also had Nokian Hakka's which are the best snow tires in the world. You made two good choices.

Congratulation!! and Welcome. I also bought GLE 350 2018 in July this year. Love it. I am a DIY person It has 35 K now. I just did Transmission flush ( Not drain ) as the recommendation is at 40 K. Did early. I also upgraded the front grill to Panamericana grill ( GTR type ) and Splash/Mud Guard. ALso did HID conversion, for that I used a capacitor to avoid flickering. This is a CPO vehicle. The ride is smooth.
I am planning to do all services myself I also bought icarsoft diagnostic tool to reset the code after fixing it. I used to own E320 and maintained it all the way to 200 K miles no dealer visit.
I love the black color. My old MB was black but as I live in Arizona it used to become super hot during summer so this time I got gray metallic.

The only concern I have is that it is a Direct fuel injector so worried about carbon build-up at the intake ports. Using good oil and avoiding short driving can minimize this.
