Jerk when release the accelerator then step it again, happens below 20km/h
Hi, All,
My car is gle320, petrol, 3.0T, 73000km now.
The car always jerk when release the accelerator then step it again, happens below 20km/h.
Checked by 2 dealers shop, no dtc found about the engine and transmission.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? or anyone resolved this problem?

I too purchased a 2022 GLE 350 that now has less than 120 miles. When I am accelerating at a stop sign/light I do so slightly to maintain an assured distance from the vehicle in front. When easing off the accelerator seconds later, I feel a thumping jerk. It’s not a smooth transition in gears. No other car I’ve driven gave this jerk..

As mentioned, normal behaviour. When you release your foot off the accelerator pedal, the vehicle thinks you wanted to slow down and the transmission is preparing for that, it believes you will soon be pressing the brake and therefore ready to downshift but instead you decided to accelerate again which confuses it..."Wait what, you wanted to accelerate?", so it has to get ready to upshift instead.
