I just found this forum and have a few questions on options
I wanted to order a 2023 MB GLE 63 and my local dealer did not have a allocation. He also told me the V8 would be discontinued
in 2024. So my search started in northern Calif for a allocation or a
car to be delivered in early May.2023

I found a 63 I liked and it will arrive around May 1st.
This car is optioned pretty well except the Build sheet does not show # 581 4 zone cooling and MBUX Augmented Video for Navigation
I do show option 549 MBUX High-End Multimedia System can this include the MBUX Augmented Video for Navigation?
Also I live in Northern Nevada and it gets hot in the summer. Does anybody have just 2 zone cooling and can it cool the back seats reasonably well?
I would think a dealer would almost always include the 4 zone cooling but oh well.

I will also add this. I don’t remember hearing that the 63 (a true V8) is going away just yet for this model. Maybe when it gets redesigned. But i will also say this, if you can find a GLE63, I’d grab it. They usually don’t last too long and I was looking on lots this last weekend at other MB cars and I saw multiple GE53s but not a single GLE63. And I was on 3 different MB dealership lots.
Oh, and don’t worry about augmented video, I never use mine and would be more upset if I didn’t have heated and cooled cup holders which I use about every day.
Also, I’m assuming this has already turned red and changes cant be made, but see if they can add the rear roof spoiler. It’s a port add on item and makes the car look great. Other than that, that’s a great build to me.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess the car does have the MBUX Navigation enhancement. I'll have to see if it only has the 2 zone cooling.
There are not that many 63's SUV types...only a few at bay area dealers and I guess allocations now are only for coupes.
I think the ceramic brake option will be rare. MB is half the price of Porsche and Alfa Romeo. Since my dealer discounted off MSRP to me the car was a no brainer. I did not want another Porsche or BMW
As I am no longer a youngster I wanted a SUV that combined power with luxury. A lot faster then my early 996 and a better motor IMHO. I do not want anything EV...now or never.

A/C system is powerful enough to cool the whole car. Augmented video is cute, but shouldn't be a deal breaker.

I agree. Tag the mod ask them to move it. I cannot remember who it is. Anyone know them? There is no reason to start a new thread over there. Hopefully they will move it soon.
